We opened in 1988 as a diversification on a working farm with just two stables. Over time, more were built to utilise the old brick buildings that were no longer suitable for modern farm machinery, but now offered excellent accommodation for horses instead.

There are up to 60 stables, located in separate areas of the yard, each having its own sense of identity. The yard is well equipped with outdoor tie-up rings, hard standing, several taps and an accessible muckheap, all helping to promote good stable management.

We have a range of stables housing anything from miniature ponies up to 17 Hh horses. The majority of these are brick built, but some wooden stables are also available. Each has its own securable tackroom, and this is situated adjacent to or behind the stable.

We are a very well maintained and professionally managed yard, where the emphasis is on courtesy and respect for others. We promote the importance of health and safety as a priority for all our clients and their equines, and encourage cleanliness and tidiness at all times.

We grow our own hay, haylage and wheat straw, and endeavour to provide good quality forage and bedding at all times. 60 acres of pasture allow us to offer year round grazing on well-maintained securely fenced fields, from small paddocks up to eight acres.
